Cult of personality with Seth Morris.
Cult of personality with Seth Morris.
It’s taken me an hour to watch the first 15 minutes because I had to Google “Diane in 7a”, “Kyle Kinane vs. Pace Salsa”, and go look at Garon’s Facebook posts for the last 4 days.
Bit dissapointed the guys did not know (maybe it had not been made clear at that point) that the Elan guy totally made that whole affair up. And what gets me, he’s accumulated 140,000 followers. The Pardo rant would be have been classic.
Trying to google for both those viral videos last night turned up news clips of them being fake. Well that really spoils them if you know they are fake.
Also in regards to the discussion of Bitcoin and what not, the site you were referring to was called The Silk Road and to get on it you needed a plugin for your browser that uses Tor. Tor is a highly anonymous way of browsing the internet. Plus you have access to Tor-only sites. From what I’ve read people questioned how legitimate the possibility of buying hits on people was and whether it was just a scam. Much more legitimate was buying drugs which is mostly what I heard it being used for.
On the topic of breaking news during a concert, there’s a chilling audio clip of news of the JFK assassination being broken during a Boston Symphony Orchestra performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVNKNz-lc6k
I listened to this episode and hadn’t yet listened to Set & Jimmy’s Comedy Bang-Bang episode, and now that I’m 15 minutes into it I have to say that if I didn’t know Bill Calahan was a real guy I would’ve assumed he was some comic doing a character.
Unfortunately there is always negativity but that is just how some people live their life. Thank you for bringing joy and laughter to us & help to those in need. I am proud to be a fan of all of yours.
Reagan + Carol Channing = Nicholson
Jimmy taking out the garbage at 3 AM. He’s one of us, guys. The hero is one of us.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go take out the garbage.
Jimmy’s reaction to Pardcast-a-Thon complaints was absolutely 100% justified and I’m glad he said it.
You guys did an amazing job, and quite frankly I thought there was no way you could top last year’s great result! You knocked it out of the park once again. And what better way to say “F you!” to all the negative internet jerks than $140,000+ raised for Smile Train!
I’ve never noticed it before but Seth Morris sounds a lot like Steve Agee.
I keep trying to convince myself that Garon’s haircut is reminiscent of Johnny Galecki from some period of his life, but Google image searches aren’t really bearing that out. Regardless–he’s a good looking guy, whatever the hairstyle.
Ithink that’s Dwight Schrute’s hairstyle
Yeah, he Schruted it.
Ha! Dwight Schrute–that’s it. I’d been wracking my brain, but that’s it.
Not only is it fun to hear some behind the scenes stuff but also, i’m glad that the CBB episode was acknowledged… That guy was WAY out of his element with three top comedians talking circles around him… I kind of feel bad for the guy…. Absolutely didn’t know what he was getting himself into with Aukerman, Pardo, and Morris…
Forgive me if you dealt with this in 1321 and I’ve already forgotten about it, but: I just finished listening to PCAT13. (Great job as usual.) What, exactly, was the deal with the Yakov sign at the theater that Jimmy expected to garner so much attention?
Yakov Smirnoff has been performing his one-man show at the Acme, so there’s a big sign out front. Jimmy predicted that 15 or so guests would make mention of this during PCAT, and vowed to donate money to Smile Train each time it happened. No one mentioned it in 13 hours, but he gave $1500 anyway (plus another $300, maybe for putting with Jack Wagner? I forget).
Just watched this week’s The Good Wife in which a character played by John Noble leaves $12 million to Smile Train in his will. Think someone over there is an NNF fan, or just a fan of Smile Train? Either way, it’s kind of cool.
Even though it wasn’t the intention, that free hour on YouTube got me to buy the full Pardcast-a-thon. The tech problem turned into good advertising, for me at least!
You’ve made some really good points there. I checked on the internet for more information about the issue and found most individuals will go along with your views on this web site.
