The George Burns rant reminded me of one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard Jimmy say on the podcast. In Episode 514 they’re talking with Pat about George Burns singing. Jimmy, perplexed at Burns’ popularity asks, “Who’s at home going, ‘Get in! George Burns is on!!’?”

To this day whenever I hear about George Burns I always imagine someone enthusiastically saying, “Get in here everyone, George Burns is on TV!”

God damn that made me laugh.

I can’t be the only person that was annoyed by Laura constantly interrupting and talking over Matt.

I found this episode rather hilarious. I can say I have two friends that are huge fans of Marillion and Fish in particular. I believe they just released a brand new album with Fish singing again.

@Nathan You can be the only one who felt the need to share that, though.

Alas, I was wrong, Fish did not record this new album with the band (I investigated). He does however perform with the band from time to time still. Ahhhhh the 80′s.

Great episode and guest. Calling Garon (sp?) ‘The Whistler’ had me howling.
However, the last fifteen minutes with the guest talking about meditation…
oh boy, I had to fast forward. Great work, men. Thanks a lot!

@Dave I think that is the same episode the Cuban Defector was first mentioned. The fan that Jimmy met on a garage sale.
