*Hard to believe.

I love you guys. Seriously. Thank you for all you do.

”

“

Thank you so much…this is really great news on what has been, so far, a profoundly shitty day. (One of my favorite co-workers was quietly let go on Friday and I just found out this morning.) Thanks for all the laughs…REALLY looking forward to this one.

”
Luke says…
“

Shit, congratulations on the pilot guys!!!

”
Felix says…

Holy shit, did not know we/they were at 300! Congrats, cant wait to listen to it!

Totally didn’t know this was 300….congrats on it! Seriously..thanks for all the laughs, you guys have helped me through some tough times.

“

Oh my God, a pilot for Comedy Central! You guys deserve everything, hope the audience is great on 5/3- and they see just how you have the funniest show in any medium. Congrats!

”
Pat Francis says…
“

Thanks to Jimmy & Matt for including me in this great podcast. I have had so much fun traveling the country and performing LIVE with my two friends. NNF has given me so much exposure as a comic personality as well as a co-host of my own podcast “Rock Solid.” It has been a great ride and I hope it continues for years to come. Thanks also to the fans who continue to listen weekly and support our charitable efforts with Smile Train! I can’t wait until November!

I’m not much of a bowler, but I know 300 is a perfect game — just like this show. Here’s to 300 more! Congrats to the fellas and the fans.

Congratulations!

It seemed like it was just yesterday that you guys were broadcasting from the corner of movie star and dicey and now you guys are going to shoot a pilot and are celebrating a milestone! I’d like to echo the sentiments of other listeners, thanks for the laughs and helping me (us) though some tough times.

Bringing Mike and Pat in for the 300th episode was great as well. It was great to hear Styx talk again! Good times!

Just the video but Eliot mentioned that it’s in process.

The bit of fake ending business was gorgeous. Way to commit.

And congrats 300, fellas!

“

This is fantastic! Almost 3 hours of NNF for my week ahead…bliss. Cannot wait to listen. Like everyone else I would like to thank Jimmy, Matt, Dan, Eliot, all the guests and extended family (Pat, Mike, Andrew) that makes this show possible every week. You guys are the best!

”
Eliot says…
“

Begin your downloads.

”
Hagen says…
“

Great XXL episode. But just to make sure that I am not crazy: The guys have talked about their time writing short internet sketches before, right? (I was not irritated by the re-telling of the stories, because they are very funny, but what got me was that Matt questioned the whole idea of the “funny-videos-while-your-page-is-loading”-concept, just like I remembered him doing it during the first time they talked about this stuff.)

Anyway: great guests, great episode!

I’ve been bitching to myself about the lack of Writers’ Room bonus eps for months now — looks like you had a nice little reason to keep them under wraps. Congratulations and best of luck on the pilot!

”
Jilly says…
“

I loved every bit of this episode! Congrats on Number 300 — I have enjoyed listening every week and look forward to many more!

Congrats (also) on the pilot! You certainly deserve it :)

”
Andrea says…
“

Hagen, that was discussed in episode 54 and Jimmy kept saying he and Pat were not fired.

You guys are friggin’ awesome. 300 episodes, 300 days made brighter by your company.
And let me say uequivocally, i LOVE me some MovieKatz. I used to play that game among friends all the time, but it was never as much fun as hearing you guys at it. So next time you’re in the middle of a bit and wondering if anyone’s enjoying it — the answer is yes, someone is.
Seriously. Jimmy, Matt, Elliot, Tabasco Ears, Andrew (GBNF), Pat, Mike, all members of the NNF team past and present: Thanks. I’m really happy to have had you all in my ears.

”
Darryl says…
“

DON’T SAY DAT OVER DA PODCAST!!!!!!

”
John says…
“

My friends and I have been playing the movie game for years now and we have a rule that can facilitate and hinder your further games. The first rule is called ‘O’Halloran’(came from someone staring with maybe Brian O’Halloran and people telling him to stop being a dick)and that rule is that you can not stump someone on the first round, which basically stops the game from being a no starter. The rule to make everything harder is you can’t repeat actors or movies for the duration of the game.

Clerks.

Eliot and Dan are right- jelly one side first, wipe the remnants on the other piece, then peanut butter, and treat yourself to licking the peanut butter off the knife as a capper.

Congrats on 300, thanks for the countless hours of entertainment. HOWEVER, please, for the love of God, put down Movie Katz immediately. If you’re going to have a recurring feature, Stupid Question/Judge Jimmy at least occasionally lead to some funny, whereas MK leads to… people w/ very limited movie knowledge talking clumsily about what some guy’s name was or who was in what, somehow sucking all of the funny out of the room and having the podcast limp out with a whimper. It’s brutal, and the first time in NNF that I’ve considered stopping episodes early.

”
Luke says…
“

Even though I absolutely suck at film trivia (I will watch, maybe, a film every few months) I enjoy MovieKatz, just to see how much they all hate it and suck at it.

Regardless, thanks for the laughs so far. I only discovered NNF (and comedy podcasts in general) on the second Conan episode but I’m slowly making my way back through all the previous seasons. It’s fantastic to know that there are people who have the exact same humour as I do (stupid puns, arcane/inane/stupid references, 9/11 jokes, and so on).

By my count, you have probably produced about 21-23 days straight worth of solid comedy. That’s just insane when you think about it. Here’s to another 300!

”
rich says…
“

Really surprised that no one mentioned the lazy baker when Mike intoned the 11 11. Bom bard a ment

”
Andrew says…
“

@JMT – Then stop the episode early and vamoose.

”
Aidan says…
“

Dang! I am a dumbass and gave it away in the link

”

“

Congrats on 300 guys. The conversation is always fun. I gotta say that being a years-long listener, Movie-Katz is a snooooooze. I know you guys have other priorities right now, so good luck with the pilot. That’s awesome.

”
Sean Raines says…
“

Thank you for 300 great episodes.

And I vote for MovieKatz to stay. You guys almost crushed Dan with his Draw Something exile, taking this away from him might be too much. Oh, and it’s incredibly entertaining.

”
Pat Francis says…
“

I’m still on board with a couple rounds of “MusicPatz”

”

Foo Fighters -> Dave Groehl -> Tenacious D…

I like it, Pat!

”
Brent says…
“

Thank you guys for such a wonderful episode to celebrate six years of your show. I have had major ups and downs in my life and this show has been something that has picked me up week in and week out. Here’s to your continued success. Good luck with the pilot! BTW, it was great seeing Pat and Mike sitting side by side.

It’s been days since I listened.

…and I still have the MovieKatz theme stuck in my head.

Never Not Funny, you are driving me insane.

”
todd says…
“

I want to listen so bad, but still can’t download onto my iPod. This is the only episode I’m having an issue with ever. Any ideas for how to get it?

”
Eliot says…
“

Todd, there’s nothing different about this ep except the length. Double check you have space and that you don’t need to reload your feed. Otherwise, email us for more help.

I’ve been listening steadily from Season 2. I’ve gone through periods of being completely obsessed with the show. I’ve listened to every episode from Season 1 through Season 8 at least twice. I came for the conversational tone and the revealing stories, and in the process I learned a lot about comedy and life on the road. I’m a huge fan.

MovieKatz is not interesting and there is not any funny to mine from it. The same goes for yelling at Dan and Eliot. I’ve noticed several different comedy podcasts where a fantastic guest is talked-over and put in the background for the sake of the hosts’ personal bits. Oh, no!

I’ll keep paying and I’ll keep listening because I’m a huge fan. And this is what I get excited about when I’m driving to and from work. BUt a full week of listening to MovieKatz across three different episodes is….ugh.

Thanks for all the laughs. 300% more road stories please.
