Love it. Haven’t even listened to it yet and I love everything about it.

Pat might like to know that his love of The Kinks, as mentioned in past episodes, led me to check them out on a deeper level and their album “Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire)” is now one of my favorites of all-time. Thank you, Mr. Francis.

OK, i just gotta say: I *love* Dire Straits. Particularly Making Movies, Communique, and Love Over Gold (plus the double live album Alchemy). But Knopfler’s gotten really good in his solo stuff – i think Jimmy would like it (start with “Sailing to Philadelphia” and “Shangri-La” ).

Then catch him live next time he’s in LA. He puts on a great show, even though his hands have slowed a little since his motorcycle accident. He’ll give Lindsay Buckingham a run for his money…

whoops, got so deep in the “recommend” diversion, i forgot my point.

I *hope* you guys haven’t doomed Mark Knopfler. If he dies, i will only *begrudgingly* renew my subscription!

Great ep, can’t wait until the pardcast-A-thon. Ohh and if Matt or Pardo gets a iPhone 4s you gotta try and replace Dan with Siri, see who’s faster!

Loved the episode, Pat is a favorite of course. Love Rock Solid even as a non-music guy, Pat and Gary put on a great show.

So the tag line for the radio station was “We’re the come spot on your dial” and it was a great station, played some great progressive rock in it’s day but sadly it is gone. And now we have 107.7 The Bone! Yeah, you can just imagine all the tag lines for that one!! We’re San Francisco – what can I say??
