Awesome. Been hoping this would happen since Moshe was on a Writers Room I think it was.

1) Don’t know who Moshe Kasher is. Look up on YouTube. 2) Not really into first clip I see, get discouraged. 3) Listen to NNF. Moshe is smart and super funny, and really nothing like the one clip I watched. 4) Need to look up more Moshe. 5) Thanks for broadening my horizons, NNF! 6) Post on pardcast.com episode page. 7) Wonder if this will be taken negatively, as a back-handed compliment. 8) Realize that I’m now writing about things in the future as though they are currently happening, which is impossible.

I was really surprised Danielle’s pet name “Mooshie” never came up. Great episode.

“

I actually laughed so hard at this episode that I threw up. True story! I have been wondering when Moshe was going to be a guest and I’m so glad he was on the show! I love you Jimmy and I can’t wait to see your show in Dayton! (that won’t be at all awkward now)

”
Matt says…
“

Ew, gross! You live in Dayton?

”
chrissy says…
“

Oh Matt, so good.

I hope Graham Elwood finally got rich enough to buy that set of Pings. Oh, and the yacht, so he can go pirate hunting.

”
Andrea says…
“

Can I attribute the return of the mcrib to this show? We honestly love you Jimmy!

”
Kenny says…
“

Love the reenactment, great show, love you Jimmy!

Sup Dan.

”
Jackie says…
“

@Matt – Yeah, it was pretty nasty – NNF can be a hazard to your health. I live in Columbus, but Dayton is close enough to see great comedy!

“

Moshe Kasher = funny and a sincerely nice guy.

I found this episode okay. But I feel like as the seasons go on, they’re losing the intimacy and greatness that made me love this show. It used to be Jimmy and his friends having fun and enjoying themselves. But now its just turned into interviews with tepid and mediocre people who just dont have the same chemistry with Jimmy and Matt as Grahm Elwood, or Rachel Quaintance, or Paul F Tompkins, there’s more that I could list. But I dont plan on re-subscribing next season until a few weeks have gone by and I can see if they’re bringing back guests I want to hear. I realize you have you have someone be on for the first time at some point to start to like them, but season 8 and so far in 9 have just been TOO many new people. And what’s good and bad about it is that the majority of fans LOVE Jimmy and will just go along with any format he wants, but interviewing uninteresting musicians that no one has heard of is NOT why I pay to listen to a comedy podcast.

Joe’s a fool.

Moshe was fantastic and hillarious. I’d be happy to see him back anytime.

On the bright side, I finally signed up for the Laugh Bank.

You might win an ipod, headphones or even a great vacation.

”
Brad says…
“

Yeah, right on Joe! When I listen to/watch a show, I want the EXACT SAME guests as I heard before. Preferably just 2 or 3 Who wants to listen to/watch someone I’ve never heard of before?
That’s CRAZY! I only want a guest that I was exposed to in the womb, thereby ensuring I know who they are and have pre-approved their entertainment value. I mean, sure, Jimmy and Matt know a thing or 2 about talent, but not as much as my mother. She placed headphones on her protruding uterus so I’d know only the best. As a matter of fact, I only listen to podcasts featuring
Vaughn Meader or Allan Sherman.

”
Bobh says…

Joe: There have only been 2 “uninteresting musicians that no one has heard of” ever, and the list of repeat guests this season alone is fairly long: Pat Francis, Ty Burrell, Andy Kindler, Danielle Koenig, Todd Glass, Maria Bamford, Al Madrigal. So the problem is really just that YOU don’t find the show as funny anymore. You can probably just forego subscribing for Season 10 and nobody will care that you’re gone, and your life will be that much better for it.

”
Eliot says…
“

Or, just subscribe and don’t listen. Then, everybody wins!

”
Andrea says…
“

I think it’s worth noting that most of the people that Jimmy had on in the first four seasons now have their own podcasts. So they have their own platform

”
Andrea says…
“

and probably having them on the podcast every season would feel repetitive. I do look forward to having them as guests (something about their interaction with Jimmy). I think it’s fair that Jimmy finds the funny with new people, which can be expected when one reaches success.

If you don’t like what you see here, get the funk out.

The solution to all this: bring back Schwaba!

”

“

Fantastic episode. One of my favorites of this season. I’ve seen Moshe over at the UCBLA a number of times and he (& everyone else) really brought their A game for #921. Now, can we see about dosing Jimmy at the beginning of EVERY episode? He was absolutely on fire. Great job, guys!

Sean Raines says…
“

Jimmy’s “Hat on” comment to Dan needs to be in the Season 10 open.
