Signing up with Tom Wilson.
Signing up with Tom Wilson.
I haven’t listened to the episode yet, but I have watched Tom Wilson’s question song video on youtube an innumerable amount of times. It is amazing! I really hope he is game to get into the BTTF trilogy in depth.
HOLY SHIT IT’S BIFF
What a joy! Tom Wilson is a great guest to help us never forget. Merry 9 11 to us all!
I have not forgotten that NNF has been trying to get Mr. Wilson for some time now, thank goodness for paths finally crossing.
Sorry guys, small problem with the video. It’ll be up later today.
Who would have guessed that Jimmy and Tom Wilson were brothers-from-another-Patinkin! Great episode guys!
8/15, Never Forget
God, that Patinkin piece really brought it to a whole ‘nother level. Great ep.
Also, hi Dan from next episode!
Tom Wilson was fantastic this week, hilarious stories, must book a return appearance
Tim Wilson was great, but I thought he sang “funny” country songs and he sings a piece about back to the future? Where the hell was acid country?!?
Can we count the members of SEAL Team 6 who were killed in that helicopter crash a part of the curse? Happened post-record, pre-release.
I thought no one in team 6 was killed in the helicopter crash. I believe those who were killed were in the same unit but not the same individuals in the Bin Laden mission. However, I was listening to the Eddie Trunk episode and Warrant was mentioned, and the lead singer died recently. So I guess the curse was to blame (a long shot to tie recent deaths to the nnf curse).
We’ve heard a starchild duel (finnegan vs francis), now a patinkin duel! I think Matt’s next. I recall there was a short lieberman-off, but I could only hope for another impression duel involving the barber!
My bad members of team 6 did die. I get the dice lady voice.
I loved seeing Jimmy’s face the first time Tom went into his Patinkin. It just lit up.
You guys is brutalizin me!!!
What a great guest! I loved him in the Wedding Crashers.
Dynamite episode. How many people are racing to get Jay North in a death pool?
Andrea – I had to read ” I get the dice lady voice” a few times to understand what it meant, but once I got it, I laughed my ass off. Fun-knee.
When I saw who the guest this week was, I felt like it was Christmas in August. I knew this would be a great episode and it did not disappoint. Hope to see him again on the show
Here’s Tom’s aforementioned KFC commercial (I can’t be the only one who immediately searched): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqCxzWQwZhs
Tom was a great guest! Now I’ll get back to drinking my coffee in a cardboard cup.
Man, did I love this episode. Mr. Wilson was worth the wait! Charming and hilarious. I get super happy when showtunes are discussed, and dueling Patinkins is my new favorite thing.
I’m hoping Jimmy can let us know what he thought of Secret Garden; it’s NOT a clunker, sweet show with some really lovely songs, and Patinkin Patinkining all over the place. I’m betting Lily’s Eyes becomes Jimmy’s new favorite song.
Tom Wilson is a great guest! Seeing the guest’s name while the episode was downloading, I was thinking ‘Who is Tom Wilson?’ Then, I googled him, and thought, ‘Wow, Back to the Future!’
I loved his, ‘…mud wrestling with Screech!’ lol
OMG is Tom great! This Gary Busey story had me on the floor!
#10 adam: You have him mixed up with Tim “Booty” Wilson I think. Novelty country songs. Maybe you knew that I’m being a dork right now. Anyway …
So what you’re trying to tell me is that little timmy wilson changed his name to Tom and is masquerading about town as Biff Tannen? Sounds like trouble!
Another great show! Thanks.

I’m really glad Tom talked nicely about Dice and showed his shades of grey. It shows that he isn’t completely a jerk, even though he acts like it apparently in his character non-stop.
