Sweating the small stuff with Todd Glass.
Todd could call his podcast, Toddglasst. Not listened to this yet.
Cartoon Todd was referring to: http://xkcd.com/386/
i don’t know if todd talked about the sabaru story on never not funny before, but i’m assuming he’s thinking of when they talked about it in detail on comedy death ray radio, it was episode 59 with paul f tompkins (listened to it yesterday)
I LOVE Todd Glass! Great choice!
Adore Todd Glass. I was in hysterics for most of this, especially the first twenty minutes.
Any time Todd’s on I automatically purchase the ep. Cant wait for his podcast to start to add to the collection of feeds.
I’m so happy to see Todd back, he’s one of my favorite regulars.
Todd Glass, the man the myth the legend. If you haven’t seen Jordan Brady’s movie I Am Comic, you are missing out on some Todd.
by the way shouldn’t Todd call his podcast Glassnost?
This is THE episode of the season!
I think this is Todd’s second appearance in a row that he did a spit take.
1:23:46- “Get cream in it” nominated for the opening of Season10, just so understated that it’s perfect.
I love unique pet names, but only if they are ACTUALLY unique, not something quirky just for the hell of it like how people name their dog Deeohjee since it’s the scrunched together sounding out of D-O-G.
This is coming from the guy who has two cats, one black female and an orange/white male that are named Butch Catssidy and the Sundance Kit (Catssidy is the female, Sundance is the male) so take it for what you will.
Pretty dang funny.
I LOVE anytime Todd is on and this is no exception. Great episode.
My husband and I just got a puppy a month ago and we named her “Rudy Huxtable”. Her favorite thing to do is lip-sync “Night time is the Right Time”
Greatest. Laugh. Evah.
Might be the smallest amount of Jimmy getting mad at Eliot.
591-ROCK, 591-ROLL: still in use by The Loop FM.
i seriously would pay for a separate podcast of just Dice & His Old Lady. “You’re wrinklin’ the shuurtss!!” That bit never gets old, and i have to leave my cubicle when they start doing it….
For the record, i have an adorable PBGV named Elwood.
Loved it! Todd is great and all that Dice riffing was hilarious!
“Cajun Jimmy and the Dice Lady” sounds like a buddy-cop show that aired on CBS from ’76-’78.
I’d watch the hell out of it today, too.
Sorry Sean, “Cajun Jimmy and the Dice Lady” only ran from ’76 to ’77, and it was just a summer replacement. Also, the final episode of season 2 was pre-empted by one of President Jimmy Carter’s televised speeches (“The Return of Malaise”). So we never found out if Cajun Jimmy and the Dice Lady finally have sex in his second floor bedroom in the aftermath of a hurricane, or if they get inturrupted by an alligator. Sad, really.
I have a technical question for anyone with ipod touch knowledge:
is it possible to download nnf episodes straight to the ipod? or is it only possible through itunes on a pc?
thanks
I really feel obliged to do a “Simon Says” joke, but I also feel the gentlemanly thing to do is not do one.
Hi Simon. You can get an application for your iPod Touch. It’s called ‘Podcaster’. You will be able to download NNF podcasts from it rather than going to your computer. I was on a long vacation and found it handy. Good luck!
Darryl, you should have bought the box set, ALL questions are answered in the unaired episodes. Something about a cork in the bottom of a magic well. And, let me just say, they really do know how to “can that jambalaya” if you know what I mean.
I use Downcast, Simon, but I think we may have already discussed that on Facebook.
Yeah, Downcast is newer than Podcaster, but in my experience it’s also better.
The Bammer followed by Todd Glass? Most excellent.
I’ve definitely heard Todd tell the Subaru story, but maybe it was on CDR as previously suggested.
Has Paul Gilmartin registered entertainment.com or dogcast.com yet?
Happy 45th Birthday Jimmy!
I knew the Subaru story from earlier this month on Adam Carolla. Alison and Bald Bryan filled in for Adam and Todd Glass was the guest.
Happy Birthday Jimmy!
Best episode in months!
That was wonderful.
You know I meant to say this earlier, but I was about 7 years old and here is the NY Yankees lineup Chris Chamblis first base, Willie Randolph 2nd, Bucky Dent SS, Greg Nettles 3rd, Reggie Jackson RF, Mickey Rivers CF, Lou Pinella LF, Thurman Munson C, Catfish Hunter P. That truely is off the top of my head, though the Yankees were never my favorite team ( I happen to be a Phillies fan shout out to the former 3rd Baseman) , they were the team I ended up seeing the most as a child because it was my father’s favorite team. I attended the first home game at Yankee Stadium after Thurman Munson died.
Can Downcast or Podcaster actually download the full episodes? I assumed they’d only be able to download the free ones…
Downcast can download the Primo eps. You just add the URL for the feed, put in your primo username/password and you’re all set!
The first ten minutes of Jimmy riffing was hysterical. Listened to that a few times before listening to the rest, which was also hysterical.
Show notes are right here:

“I love unique pet names”
Maria Bamford was in Toronto earlier this year and she asked if anyone in the audience had pets and a girl answered that she had a hamster and it was named Maria Bamster. Best hamster name EVER.
