I thought it WAS Scott Aukerman, until I realized he wasn’t making dong jokes.

Excellent show. Jimmy said it right up front, but what made me fall in love with NNF was the ridiculous conversations between friends. This was a great return to form. I’ll take 10 Russ McGarry episodes over a Kevin Meaney visit any day (no disrespect to the hilarious McGarry)

Oh yeah, and since we’re talking about running, Jimmy’s recent running regiment got me back in the habit as well — including three trips to various DSWs, a Foot Locker, and some guy selling sneakers out of his trunk in Soho. Thanks for the positive example, Jimmy! I only run 2 miles a pop, too. No need for more than that.

Russ was a great guest! He gets it. I love hearing about Jimmy’s early days in comedy.

I don’t usually post here because I’m pretty happy with everything.
But Elliot – why do you have to text-comment every mistake you do? I wouldn’t even notice when a camera is out of focus or if you hit a wrong button. What I do notice though is a large block of text that distracts me from what is being said because I automatically read it. Just relax and let it happen.

I appreciate the support. I don’t point out every mistake, just the obvious ones. Don’t want anyone to think that I’m falling asleep. Guarantee that for your one message, I would get ten “did you know that Matt was out of focus?” messages.

Not through with 903 yet, but wanted to let Jimmy know that he was accidentally almost right about Iron Maiden. They have a song called “The Longest Day” from 2006.

When they talked about Foghat it wasn’t until they started singing “Slow ride” that I understood the bands name wasn’t Fog Hat but Foghat. Though “Fog Hat; odd name. Still I guess it sounds like something Pardo would listen to”. Anyway great ep you guys!

Is there a $10 fine for saying Foghat?

If you guys like ‘Pawn Stars’ you might all like (with the exception of Mr. Pardo because of some of the gross factors) ‘Oddities’ on the Science Channel. It’s like ‘Pawn Stars’ but with more interesting shop owners and customers.

This all happens in a shop called Obscura in New York City that specializes in interesting and unusual items like straight jackets, old medical equipment, and preserved organs (to name a few).

Totally didn’t think it was going to be my cup of tea but the owners were on Conan about a month back and I fell in love. REALLY interesting stuff being bought and sold by REALLY interesting people.

I’ve been hosting comedy shows in the midwest for 13 + years. Russ was great when I worked with him.

Of the literally hundreds of comics I’ve seen and been around, I can count on one hand the number of guys I truly loathe.
Jimmy referenced the absolute worst of those in this episode. His act, his demeanor, his treatment of other comics, his treatment of women, his treatment of the staff – ALL awful.

Guess who it is?

I’m not going to say who it is, because, like all Jimmy Pardo fans, I am a gentleman.
