Snakes alive! with Sean Cullen.
Wicked. Scott Ian, he is a comic book hero now.
One of my favorite people ever! This episode is going to be the best!
Love the Grace Potter and the Nocturnals talk. One of my favourite new bands from last year.
i’ve only seen the title/description but i must know before i listen: Will The Guys be Singing during this episode? I will NOT listen unless their is SINGING!!
There’s slight signs of life over at http://www.NeverNotNotes.com. Check out the new look, and read my latest post from info on what’s happening.
Or, FOR info on what’s happening. Or from. Whichever.
Eliot is a better intern than Dan. Don’t get me wrong, we all love Dan, but Eliot was on the ball.
I can’t believe nobody mentioned Frank Caliendo when discussing “Maddening Television”. If anybody “Maddenized” that show, it was he.
I like hearing mention of Pardo and Matt talking business on the phone. I imagine it’s like Regis and Gelman.
Purity Organic? Matt’s right. They need to change their name.
Good news, Matt: while Jimmy may have a point morally, under Federal law you are entitled to keep any unordered merchandise sent to you in error, and it’s actually illegal for the company to demand payment after the fact. So technically you can enjoy your camera case with IMPUNITY!

You’re welcome.
Did we somehow get through episode 819 without calling it the Hardcastle? Or did I miss it?
Sean Cullen is definitely one of those people I need to obsessively find every podcast appearance of. A preposition is what I ended that sentence with. Loved him on Doug Loves Movies ages ago.
To Aaron G: I still listen to that episode when I’m down. Him and Paul F. Thompkins should always be on podcasts together or start a podcast together where they don’t do anything but improv singing.
You guys mentioned that your ‘stolen merchandise’ conversation was boring, but I loved it. I’ve listened to every episode since Season7 (working way through Archive Pack now) and, while I enjoy them all, the individual pieces that stand out to me are the serious conversations like the discussion about the OTHER f-word and the c-word with Jimmy Dore (?). Just a great, thoughtful conversation about the thin line between humor and hurt (album name!).
Another awesomely hilarious episode as well.
Bank error in your favor! Bank error in your favor.
When he has his hat on, Phillies starter Roy Oswalt looks like Jimmy Pardo. When the hat is off, the likeness is decreased. I would, however, like to see Jimmy in a Phillies cap for comparison…
Hey–let’s try an episode without Matt! Just for the sake of fun… and humor.
Just preordered Season 3 video! Awesome.
Caught the great Mr. Pardo playing as Andy’s sidekick last night on Conan. The deadpan stare had us rollin’!
“GOLD!”
Great to see Jimmy on Conan last night.
Fun show, guys. Thanks for bringing us Sean Cullen … and if I may add, regarding Amazongate, I had a similar situation a couple of years ago. My wife and I ordered a $300 electric guitar on clearance from musiciansfriend.com and a few days later, UPS delivers us a gigantic box — with FOUR identical guitars for the price of one. She briefly considered keeping them all, but after pondering possible karmic implications, we picked one out (again, all identical in model and color, with subtle differences in grain pattern of the wood) and sent the others back. Funny, but when we called the company to inform them of the mishap, they didn’t even sound surprised. They just asked us to repackage the other three and leave it out for UPS to pick up the next day, and they’d handle the shipping. They did send us a $25 gift certificate as a thank-you.. … not that I was expecting anything, but that was a HUGE fuckup on their part, and I would’ve felt awful if someone lost his or her job over it. You’re welcome, Big Business.
Jimmy even broke Conan a bit with the deadpan stare at the end, so great.
We’re not even 5 minutes in and we’ve got Jimmy trying to remember the lyrics to a song so… he can sing it. Seriously? This is why I dont pay for this anymore. I keep on jumping in every now and then with the free episodes to see if the patter is back to where it used to be. It’s not, it’s self indulgent unplanned bullshit with singing. Gross.
It has a powerful WYSIWYG Editor for every ad so that you will be able to customize your ads very easy and fast.
I found the first half of this episode painful to listen to. The long, delayed intro is the same every week, and the “Elliot, look it up!” and then berating him while we wait is becoming boring.
Sean Cullen was funny though, especially the second half.
