So I click on the giant banner ad with anticipation and delight in a furious rush to be the first kid on my block with the ‘Bag O’ Corn’ t-shirt…. not anywhere to be found on the AST store…. you broke my heart Belknap!!!!!
Thanks for all the funny guys….
November 12th, 2008 at 10:56 pm
The T-shirts will be in the AST Store by the end of the night, I’m told. Also, we’ll be shipping the shirts in early December, so don’t worry too much about getting your order in by tomorrow morning — it won’t get it to your mailbox any faster.

Here’s the Grammys video Andrew and Matt were talking about. Nothing could be more 1985 than this:

Can’t wait for the shirts! Fantastic design.
Great episode this week. Thanks for making my commute more tolerable.
November 13th, 2008 at 10:37 am
AST is down this morning. Must have crashed due to the high volume of pre-sales of the new t-shirt. Way to go! Can’t wait to order mine.
November 13th, 2008 at 11:48 am
Got my shirt ordered, yay! Props to DiGiorgio for designing it.
November 13th, 2008 at 6:19 pm
I am still unable to order the shirt. Any idea when they’ll be available to order again?
Also, love the video this week. Yay for Andrew getting some face time!

Chrissy M- try getting rid of old cookies (cache) on your computer. Someone else had the same problem on the AST message board and that helped.
November 13th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
Thanks Susan! I just ordered one.
How awesome is that bag clip?!

Great show, but I have two questions
a) why was this episode at a different location than normal?
b) is there a reason why they never refer to Mike Schmidt by name, but instead always call him the 40 year old boy? (and yes I know that is the name of Schmidtty’s podcast)
November 14th, 2008 at 8:48 am
I love that the first drop in on the show ended up be “SARA NANA MADE THIS MONKEY”
And I laughed like an idiot every time Pat played it.
November 14th, 2008 at 9:25 am
Josh: we were in the big studio, where we used to record for most of season 2 (see: JimmyCam) and the start of season 3. And Mike’s been referred to by name plenty of times.
Hey, check the store today if you haven’t yet: we just added another NNF item!
November 14th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
BAG O’ GROCERIES FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!! I already have enough reusable grocery bags, but how could I resist a NNF one?! Love it!
November 14th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
This is hysterical.
How do you Kung-Fu break a banana? The phrase “Johnny Banana Breaker” = the best.
November 14th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
The tension between Jimmy and Matt that’s been building since season three finally comes to a head. Yikes.
November 14th, 2008 at 11:06 pm
I sent Jimmy an email and he was very nice and brief, but not so brief as “Thanks”. And he did sign it “jp” lol.
Is it just me or does Pat’s mom sound like Roz from Monsters Inc.?
Andrew is hilarious, end of story.
November 16th, 2008 at 11:55 am
I just watched the video - what size is the beverage in front of Jimmy? I’m sure everything is supersized in America, but that has got to be the largest can I have ever seen. It is about as big as Jimmy’s head! Crazy.
November 16th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
America!!!!!! Where manly men drink bigass manly sized drinks!!!!
I bet it’s a 24 oz.
November 16th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
Whoa! According to Wikipedia: “It also comes in 32oz cans but there are very few.”
C’mon Jimmy, if that’s not a 32, man up and get one for the next podcast.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
great stuff as always!
t-shirt will be ordered this week! love it
November 19th, 2008 at 7:43 am
i agree with bailee, “johnny banana breaker” really did it for me
November 19th, 2008 at 8:35 pm
Josh…
a) Same location… different room. Now stay out of our business.
b) Because it’s fun! Plus… if you know who we’re talking about then you’re in on the fun. If you don’t know who it is then a simple google search will lead you to the answer and maybe give MIKE some new found listeners.
c) Doesn’t anyone like to have fun anymore? What in the hell did guys like Josh do before the web was invented. For crying out loud (Meat Loaf!!) why don’t you try and do something positive for a change and stop always looking at the negative side of every thing.
November 19th, 2008 at 9:01 pm
whoa Pat. I was just curious about the change in scenery. I assumed it was just a temporary thing or something. Didn’t mean to go on the negative. Plus I just thought it was funny that you kept calling him the 40 year old boy. I wasn’t trying to accuse anybody of anything. Also, before the internet was invented I was 8, so I was probably playing with GI Joe or something
November 19th, 2008 at 10:32 pm
Thanks for clearing that up. GI Joes are, and always will be, good fun!
