Ok, only 4 minutes in, but I can’t stop laughing at “Rick Rolling your head!”
March 31st, 2010 at 1:43 pm

I love me some Laurie Kilmartin. Hey Laurie let me know if you need some help responding to negative posts written about you on your IMDB page.

Having a little problem, when I try to download/play the podcast its playing/dling episode 619 with pat francis.
March 31st, 2010 at 3:53 pm
“There’s no netting on this one guys!”
March 31st, 2010 at 8:54 pm
Can’t download 621? All i get is 619??
March 31st, 2010 at 9:24 pm
See if you can get it from the audio feed link here:
feed://pardcast.com/feeds/season6/season6.xml
Or, click the iTunes link and re-enter your login info. That sometimes resolves the issue.
March 31st, 2010 at 9:34 pm
The link wont accept my username and pw for some reason.
March 31st, 2010 at 10:15 pm
Nate and Mike: what download method are you using? It seems to be working via iTunes and the feed is correct.
March 31st, 2010 at 11:16 pm
I just tried to watch this one and it said it was 621, but then the video played 619. Is this the same problem the others were having or is this my own problem?
April 1st, 2010 at 4:46 am
Mandee I’m having the same problem, the video/audio on this page is labeled as 621, but its actually 619, the audio is up on the streaming page no video just yet.
April 1st, 2010 at 7:56 am
matt, I go to the individual episode pages and select Download on the audio for 621. Ever since I switched to my Mac, itunes doesn’t seem to automatically pull it, so it just downloads to the computer and then automatically transfers over to iTunes. I don’t think that’s the issue though, but that’s what I do. Never had this issue before. I even did the streaming feed and it was still 619 with Pat on it. Looks like others have the same issue. Thanks

It should be fixed now. You may need to clear your browser cache or just reload the page to make sure it’s loading the fixed links.
April 1st, 2010 at 3:55 pm
Sorry guys. I sent a virus to the server so that only my episodes will be shown in video format. I will fix it.
April 1st, 2010 at 4:29 pm
Great episode! One of my favorites this season.
Pardo and Shannon? Like them both, but I can’t even picture that combo. “Jiolly”? “Mollmmy”? “Parnnon”? “Shando”? Not power couple names. Maybe “Shando” for a western.
For season 7 I’d like to request, “you get to go some place to get that, right?” for the opener. Don’t know why, it just made me laugh.
When Jimmy said that Chelsea Handler just signed her books with a “C” did anyone else think he was going to take that in another direction?
April 1st, 2010 at 5:20 pm
Works great now! THANKS! Sorry Pat, once is enough, thank you!
April 1st, 2010 at 6:48 pm
Wonderful show; Laurie’s hilarious. I’ll be looking for more of her stuff. Everyone was razor sharp. Thanks for the laughs, as always.

I know this was probably just me and very retarded (sorry Pat) but the whole time they were talking about Sherri Shepherd I thought they were talking about Shari Lewis. So until “The View” was brought up I kept thinking, why isn’t anyone making fun of sock puppets?

How old is Mark Volman? Just askin’
April 2nd, 2010 at 8:17 am
I love when Jimmy says “I wish nothing but the Denver Family the best of luck!” right out of the box. So funny.
April 2nd, 2010 at 8:19 am
mark volman was born april 19, 1947 (will be 63). great thing called google. took me 3 keystrokes
April 2nd, 2010 at 11:00 am
I’d love to see Pootie Tang remade with Jimmy playing the lead. Great episode.
April 2nd, 2010 at 11:01 am
Also lol @ Pat Francis.

Oh my god, you guys have a four camera shoot going on now? I remember back when it was just JimmyCam and the colored windscreens. I just have to say, I mean, I appreciate the creativity in the camera angles Elliott is trying out, but it’s getting a bit artsy, it seems. The “back of Jimmy’s head” shots? The closeup of the guest/Jimmy shot seems to me a bit too busy, almost claustrophobic, you know? I mean, it’s interesting, an intriguing idea, but a bit much in practice, especially for those of us who’ve been with the show for so long. Even the new solo Jimmy angle, with the mike arm and guest’s head in the foreground and the camera in the back, it’s interesting, not necessarily an improvement. I realize it must be hard fitting four cameras in there, but even earlier in this season it was two cameras and working fine. Just, please don’t overreach, I guess is what I’m asking.
Regardless, great episode, really funny, I loved the rapport, plus a couple of cassic Pardo moments. Don’t think I’m bashing the show or anything, I just felt I had to say something.

Don’t say “colored.”
April 2nd, 2010 at 3:29 pm
OK, since we’re talking about the new camera work (and by “we” I mean “Kenny”) … I’m just a few minutes in, and I have to say: I like it! Sure, we’re used to seeing it a certain way, but this way gives more context and makes it less like anyone is off in their own dimension. Good work Eliot!

Listened to this one twice. One of my favorite episodes. Is it just me or does Laurie Kilmartin have one of the best laughs of all time?

Have to agree with Darryl and disagree with Kenny. The new camera angles are great and I hope they stick around. Great episode guys!
April 3rd, 2010 at 6:55 pm
Thinking I side with 2-camera Kenny, we all know Jimmy keeps the neckline clean. Regardless, hilarious episode; Laurie is an awesome guest, thanks!
April 4th, 2010 at 2:10 am
It’s a Darryl-Kenny fight!!!!!!!
April 4th, 2010 at 10:46 am
Put up your dukes, sir! You’re in for a fight, or as Jesse Thorn said, a nice scrum!
But no seriously, I can definitely see your point, of course. It does add a sense of interconnectedness between the different people involved, I just think, since I’m so used to that not being the case, it made everyone seem too close together, cramped. I’m sure they were the same distance to each other that they’ve always been, but it brought everything closer together, in a way that was in some sense uncomfortable. Like, if the camera was me watching these performers, I wouldn’t want to be that close to Jimmy’s head, you know?
April 4th, 2010 at 10:46 am
Laurie was a great guest, love the new camera work, Volman was definitely the oldest guest you’ve had.
Also, I think it’s about time to have Andy Daly back on. His episode back in season 3 was definitely in the top 2 episodes of NNF.
April 4th, 2010 at 11:57 pm
I like the new camera angles. Nice work, Elliot!
Laurie was an excellent guest, good show.
April 5th, 2010 at 11:42 am
Man, that shot of the back of Jimmy’s head is gorgeous! I think Mr. Pardo will keep the 4 camera shoot just for that reason.
April 5th, 2010 at 1:51 pm
Well, after one game this season, Jimmy’s Nelson Cruz pick looks like a genius move.
April 5th, 2010 at 8:02 pm
Laurie Kilmartin is not old, she’s middle aged, according to current life expectancy rates. Which is an extreme compliment for how old she looks.
Haha, just kidding.
April 6th, 2010 at 12:45 pm
HOW can you forget the name of Olympic swimmer MISTY HYMAN!!
April 7th, 2010 at 4:52 am
I really liked the four camera shoot. The over-the-shoulder shots really made me feel like I was a part of the conversation, as opposed to merely standing outside watching it.
Good episode all around.
I was curious, though. Is Pete Schwaba ever going to be back on the show? He was something of a staple for the first couple seasons, then he just sort of dropped off.
April 8th, 2010 at 9:34 am
Too busy peeing my pants laughing to think about camera angles . . .
April 21st, 2010 at 2:58 pm
I mean … MISTY HYMAN!
April 27th, 2010 at 8:34 pm
What a terrific guest and what chemistry with Jimmy & Matt! Please invite Laurie back soon. This was one of the best episodes in recent history.

I know I’m a little late but…
As a resident of Terre Haute, this will always be known in my mind as “The Terre Haute Episode.” I didn’t even know Terre Haute used to have a comedy club. 1997 was before I moved here, so I had to ask around.
So, Jimmy, how about a return engagement? Pardo. Kilmartin. Lucky 13th anniversary show. Let’s do it.
