My self-loathing insecure neurosis started freaking out when Jimmy went on a tirade about being mad at a fan. I was making mental inventory of every comment I ever left on here, wondering if anything I said was negative. I’m relieved that I’m safe
Also, great great episode! This season has been absolutely 100% amazing. Everyone I’ve shared NNF with thinks that it should be on television on a weekly basis. It’s great. Paul GETS IT!

Also: FUNNY FUNNY episode! It’s almost a moot point to keep saying that the episodes are funny, because they always are. Paul Rust is a great addition to the Never Not Funny family.

Goddammit! I have never laughed so hard. Not to take anything away from prior guests, but this might be one of the funniest episodes ever. Paul Rust is just a delight. Hollywood should give him all the money he deserves, not a penny more. This guy needs to be working so he can feed his ice cream habit and sing the themes to 80’s sitcoms, and I wish him all the luck.

I agree with everyone giving kudos to Paul Rust, terrific guest, but Matt Belknap was on FIRE this episode. Where is his ever-illusive kudo? (and of course as always Andrew K got in a few that weren’t exactly transparent dangling chopped liver.)

Paul Rust is one of those guests that their chemistry brings not just the great out in Jimmy, but also Matt. Paul is not the alpha male but as a great connection with Jimmy which makes everyone comfortable, thus able to spark everybody’s creativity, and lets not leave out that he is funny, we have found a possible dream team?

Is anyone else still having download issues with itunes? Episodes are taking a couple hours for me to download, while most other podcasts download fairly quick for me. Just curious as to whether this is a problem on my end or in general.

I’m having download problems as well. About 1.5 hours for the audio version - iTunes estimated 10 hours for the video version, so I canceled it. Kind of a bummer because I was hoping to listen to this episode on the train this morning, but it looks like it’s not going to finish downloading before I have to leave. Bummer.

Just to pile on here - I’m having download issues as well. iTunes is reporting that the Mike Siegel podcast (the only one I have left to download, ARG!) is going to take 3 hours on a high speed connection. I hope this is something that can be fixed soon.

I sent an email to the gmail account about the download issue myself earlier this week. My download would actually stop before getting finished, leaving me to wonder where the last 15-20 minutes of the show went. If I went to the XML feed, it would finish the download, but it took its sweet time downloading.
Technical difficulties aside, I did get to listen to this episode. Just like any other Season 6 episode, it was great! Ted Nugent talk was hilarious, and it reminded me of what I think was a Season 1 episode where “Suck My Bon-e-o” came up. Any hardcore NNFers know an episode number on that?

Sorry about the slowness folks. We are back to work on a permanent solution (which I thought we already had — grr). Just want to confirm that people who have gotten the 615 video to download completely and have watched it didn’t have any problems — let me know here in the comments. I want to make sure that file isn’t somehow corrupt and causing the slowness.

I can confirm I’ve watched the video without any corruption problems. Just the issues Andrew had recording around you drummers. But yeah, it downloaded at around 10~20kb/s.

Same problem here. I’ve been trying to download for the past 3 days and it gets about 10% into the download and quits. Is there any way I can get around it? Because I’m even having difficulties listening on the site.

It will speed up as the load decreases — I know that’s not much solace right now, but the problem seems to be coming from too many connections (it has to divide the total amount of server resources by the number of people accessing it).
I’m going to beat this thing if it’s the last thing I do! (Beating it with a stick is one option.)

Great episode. I’m “Lady” about it. Rust’s laugh is contagious. It sucks that the video takes so long to watch because of the buffering, but that just means more people are enjoying the show. You guys deserve your own animated show on HBO; One where Andrew is actually a monkey. Just a thought. Also someone needs to cancel so we can get some Dave Holmes this season.

I have spent Monday and Tuesday at work trying to get it downloaded…after about 16 hours I am a good 2/3 of the way downloaded!
I won’t listen to just the audio though, I have to watch it! But, I’m patient and will wait for you guys

We took the video feed down yesterday to improve audio download speeds, and we’re in the process of setting up a new server just for the video. Hopefully that will be up and running soon, but I imagine it will take some time to move everything over. Thanks again for your patience while we sort this out.

There is still no video up. Am I crazy and just don’t see it? Not on the video feed. Finally purchased this season and cant watch the video. Guess Ill have to settle on audio for this one.
