Siegel Was On Fire. One Of My Favorite Episodes.
BTW Good Luck With The Meniscus Pardo. I Tore My Whole Meniscus And Had 2/3 Of My Latteral Meniscus Removed, Missed 6 Months Of Football And Pretty Much Guaranteed A Metal Knee By Age 50 Since I Played My Senior Year. Note, I Was Not Too Many Steps Away From Worse Case Cenario And Went Through The Arthroscopic Surgery Like Robin Williams Talked About, There Is A Good Chance You Will Not Have The Same Fate.

Loved it! Listening again today at work. Pretty quiet on the blog… is everyone as busy as me? Because if you are, that’s too bad.

Darryl,
I had written a long essay on Siegel’s good looks and how he should be in the bigs. Then took a step back, checked my manhood and erased the whole thing.

Hey,
Great Episode. On a different note, I was just listening to Carolla’s podcast from earlier this week…he had a viewer call-in show and someone called in to ask “Did you know Pardo is trying to start a feud?” He talked about how Jimmy has mentioned the Joel McHale BBQ incident a few times, but never clarified that Jimmy’s upset with McHale NOT Carolla. He asked “Since Pardo’s been badmouthing your fans, just wanted to see if you had anything to say about HIS fans.”
This guy clearly listens to both podcasts and has heard Jimmy’s full (and very clear) stance on the incident but still takes the time to call up and try to misrepresent things.
How are there so many people on the internet that want to “start some shit”? (yes I realize the irony that I’m coming here and ranting rather than hearing it, rolling my eyes, and letting it go)
Any way, I guess this leads nowhere, but if anybody wants to hear what I’m talking about, it’s on:
the January 26 Episode of The Adam Carolla Podcast - “Adam and You!”
The caller starts talking about it at 49 minutes in.
The good news is Adam doesn’t take the bait. He says something like “I like Pardo. I’m sure anything he said was tongue-in-cheek”
…Now I have to relisten to the episode and remember what my comment about THIS show was going to be. Darn. I have to learn to shutup and stay focused.

Looks like Jimmy made an appearance on Marc Maron’s Podcast, WTF.

I want to know who made the song “Voices” that Jimmy was singing right before Judge Jimmy, the song he substituted the word ‘choices’ on. I couldn’t locate it in iTunes, and I’ve wanted to hear that song again since I heard it at some point in the ’80s. Was it Cheap Trick? Help a guy out?

Not a clue Steve, sorry.
El Segundo back on the Cast with another great episode! Who knew a cricket match could last 5 days? Let’s play two!

Voices is on the Cheap Trick album “Dream Police”.
It’s on iTunes.

I thought Gervais was terrific at the golden globes,
but speaking of terrific, this episode was one of the best this season! Keep up the great work guys.

It was on Maxfun, but in case anyone missed it, Paul F Tompkin’s introduction of Jimmy Pardo at the live Match Game is not to be missed:

PFT is a comedic genius, no question.
I think Mike gets more handsome every time I he comes on the podcast. How is that possible?
I can certainly relate to bad weather as it’s been hovering around 12 degrees in Western NY. Can’t wait to move to LA once I find a career to latch on to. Yes people, I’ve decided to move to the Stand-Up capital of the world and live out the rest of my life through working a boring job in the day and laughing at the UCB every night.

I support LeAnna’s plan to move to LA. And when you get there, you can teach Pat Francis how to count.

Haha. You’d be the first person to support me. Parents are totally against it. Crime capitol of the world they say.
February 1st, 2010 at 4:28 pm
Well, LeAnna, parents want to “protect” (yes, in quotes) their kids. When my daughter gets out of college, and goes off to LA (or wherever) sure, I’ll worry about her. That’s my job. Heck I worry about her now, and she’s in Missoula, Montana. But I realized years ago that I wasn’t raising her to keep her. She has to learn to fly! Hopefully your folks will come around. But even if they don’t, you have to do your thing and hope for the best. Good luck!
