  2. madmike Says:

    I call drug overdoses fiascos

    high-larious.

  3. Jon Says:

    Loved this episode.

  4. Aaron G Says:

“It would never be hot digs!” should just go ahead and enter our daily parlance.

  5. Caroline Says:

“That sandwich is a faggot” replaces “Eh…I don’t know hobbit names” as my favorite Jordan Morris quote.

  6. Margaret Says:

GAAAH! I am crazy about this guy. Can’t wait to listen… his fluffy hair will be a classy cushion for us in these turbulent times.

  7. Mariano Says:

Great show! Too bad the next one will be recorded consecutively so we’ll have to wait at least 2 weeks to know if the feud with McHale came to a resolution during his “Tonight Show” appearance.

  8. GabeM Says:

Oh man, five minutes in and I’ve had to rewind twice because of laughing. This is already one of the best. Jordan is my hero.

  9. LeAnna Says:

    I loved the boat bit.

Yay for the next guest! Can’t wait!

  10. Beth Says:

“Hey, if you’re constipated come on through” MUST be put in the season 7 opening.

  11. JBel Says:

“It’s Because He Gets It.” -JP
Best Description For Why Jordan and Jesse Works Well With Pardo, This Was My Well Anticipated Episode Other Than The Return Of PFT Per Possible Season. Now Only If We Can Get Tosh…
    I’m With Coco

  12. MattB Says:

Another great one: Jordan jumping in early and then saying “Sorry Dad” near the beginning is opening worthy as well.

The whole boat thing made me laugh as well. I do remember as a kid in suburban Indianapolis, the storm drains would occasionally over-flow and the roads would flood, and there would indeed be a few people out in boats. They didn’t need to be, but they did anyway. Weirdos.

Also, go check out the Tonik website Jordan was talking about.. It’s every bit as condescending and annoying as you might think it is. I was there for a minute and wanted to punch a wall (to quote Pardo)

  13. Joseph Says:

    Jordan Morris is hilarious!!!!

LOVED this episode! Jimmy, you’re a genius! I think one of my favorite parts of NNF is how the guests know and love you. Their genuine pleasure and joy at being on make each podcast sort of an “event.” Matt, you get funnier all the time. In the beginning you had a tentative feel, but there’s a level of confidence, friendship, even (dare I say) sweetness in the interaction between you and Jimmy that’s been a delight to hear evolving. I remember the show when you were getting overwhelmed with your imminent new baby. It didn’t come off as overwhelmed to listeners, just distracted and snapping. After an awkward moment, Jimmy suddenly said, in the sweetest way, “Are you OK?” And dropped all the banter to take time, along with the guest (was it Matt Walsh?) to just reassure you and check in. As funny as NNF is (and it IS wildly funny!), it’s the lovely, human moments like those that make NNF so distinctive. I still kind of wish sometimes Andrew were miked, but it’s also fun to hear him giggling in the background and being an “audience.” Jordan was delightful! He was so fearless and yet also respectful in the best way — clearly came from a base of knowing and enjoying JP immensely. There’s always a quality of enjoyment and playfulness in the back of Jordan and Jesse’s intonations, word choices, and response. To quote the great JP, “What a joy!” As many fans of NNF and JP are, I’m worried and sad about the current tumult but also hopeful that this will be a chance for Jimmy, and Conan, to do something wildly new and wonderful. Best of luck!

  15. Alex Says:

Hilarious! Laughed all the way through it! Might be my favorite of the season.

  16. Brian Says:

    Two things…

    1) Here is the Save Pardo sign mentioned on the podcast: http://s.buzzfed.com/static/enhanced/terminal01/2010/1/19/10/enhanced-buzz-25973-1263915334-3.jpg

    2) Celebrity sighting! It was on the Tonight Show (Tuesday I think), but I got excited: http://imgur.com/fLyKv

  17. Zaner27 Says:

Mr. Pardo - Got a thrill out of seeing you in the audience at the finale of the The Tonight Show. I even paused it and ran and got my girlfriend. It was great to know that a show I loved and grew up watching “got it” and wanted to hire another comedian I came to love. Great knowing that you were a part of getting that show energized. I know you tend to lash out at fan support, but just wanted to wish you the best. I know it will be two weeks until the next recording but I would love to hear about that last show and what it was like. Sure others would too.

  18. Cooper Says:

Awesome show, straight out the gate. I got enough hard laughs in from the first 20 to not even feel so bad for the free listeners. Although I do, of course, feel bad for them. Great stuff.

  19. Kenny Says:

Hey, I just realized. I was listening to old episodes, and I believe there was quite a bit of discussion as to Matt putting his knuckles on an air hockey table and somebody shooting the puck at them. Did I miss something, or does that still need to happen? Totally should’ve happened at the Pardcastathon. Also, speaking of the final Tonight Show episode, was JP in that big cast shot they showed? I couldn’t find him, though I think I found Todd Levin, who was looking out of frame. Apparently something more important was happening somewhere off to the left. Anyway, great episode, really funny.

  20. Paul Says:

Man, this was a great episode. Both Jesse and Jordan are great guests on NNF. As Jimmy would say: THEY GET IT.

One comment about the Judge Jimmy ruling… It’s now sort-of a Christmas tradition to do my shopping for presents while listening to my iPod. Christmas is the time where the mall is the most annoying (Christmas music, crowds, etc) and walking around in your own little world while waving off annoying salespeople is the best :D

  21. Patrick Says:

In response to Kenny - Jimmy was in the cast photo, and if I’m not mistaken, he was right next to Todd Levin! I didn’t see him in the audience shot, however. Shoot - shouldn’t have cleaned up my DVR so soon!

  22. Jon Says:

Some talk about Pardo on Adam Carolla’s podcast today. Unfortunately, the caller who asked about JP may have qualified as a “carollatard.” But Adam said nice things and I HOPE that these two podcasting greats (and Matt) will reunite soon!

  23. Charlie Says:

Is anyone else having a glitch in the video for the Mike Siegel episode 614 at about 42 minutes? For me, it suddenly skips from Siegel talking about a roommate in India, to everyone talking about 70s director’s friendships.

  24. Zaner27 Says:

Yes, on Carolla’s podcast the caller asked him to comment on the “feud” Mr. Pardo was trying to start … he claimed Mr. Pardo had been insulting his fans and calling them idiots. I only listened because I noticed Mr. Pardo’s picture on the page for “podcast with …. you.”

  25. Caroline Says:

I had the same glitch as Charlie.

  26. Andrew Koenig Says:

Hey guys. I posted then pulled video for 614 due to an error with the file. Will re-post on Thursday.

  27. sub Says:

Does the video take forever to start playing for everyone or is that just me?

  28. Meg Says:

Well, the guy calling into Carolla really was an idiot, because I don’t think Jimmy has a problem with Adam — it’s McHale that’s the problem, isn’t it?

Loved Jordan. I love the guests that genuinely seem to enjoy being there and take delight in everything Jimmy is, while also enjoying some banter with Matt — who is getting more and more hysterical all the time. Still miss Andrew (I KNOW — HIS CHOICE) but respect his choice to stay in the background with his hippie snacks. :)

  29. Joseph Says:

Ugh don’t encourage Matt. He needs to shut or talk and be mocked by Jimmy. He is a black whole of comedy

  30. Josephine Says:

Ugh don’t encourage Matt. He needs to shut up or talk and be mocked by Jimmy. He is a black whole of comedy

  31. Kenny Says:

Apparently both Joseph and his female alter-ego Josephine are confused about the subject of black holes. Huh. Who would’ve thought. Unless they mean he’s an African American constructed entirely out of comedy, by which I think they’re confusing Matt with Richard Pryor. A common mistake.

  32. Josephine Says:

sorry, matt belknap makes me want to listen to Jordan, jessie go more often, and I pay for never not funny! Just shut up matt, jimmy is hilarious, his guests are great, andrew has great interjections, just edit and shut up…

  33. Steve Says:

Matt Belknap makes me want to listen to Never Not Funny. Matt’s funny in his own right and Jimmy is more hilarious thanks to him. Josephine, you do not get it.
