I was there live and the whole Hartman section was absolutely perfect. It started with Dave Foley and was mostly Dave Foley which was 100 percent appropriate. The only joke I had a problem with was that he forgot to duck. If I remember right he was shot in bed so ducking maayyyy not have helped.
This was a fantastic show. I have never seen Jimmy hold back so many spit takes. I can only hope that they will be at the Sketchfest again next year. Loved this venue over the one last year as it was more intimate for the form.
I was also lucky enough to be in the audience. I got my tickets the night before and was surprised there were still tickets left - felt really, really lucky when the show started and all the seats were occupied and there was a row of people standing in the back of the room. Really funny, great afternoon of comedy. I hope you guys make it back every year.
Great stuff again, and to Matt, my fiance thinks your cute but not very funny … and I don’t know how I feel about this… and maybe I should have stopped at just cute and made you feel good rather than add the unfunny bit, but it’s how I’m coping, so don’t you judge me from your ivory tower of handsomeness.

I traveled to SF to make is a Pardastic Weekend with NNF, Game Show Explosion and Running Your Trap. I had an awesome time and am so glad I went.
I very much enjoyed the look on Jimmy’s face when Pat revealed his little prank. Total stone face and then seemingly reluctant in his appreciation. Dave Foley was awesome. The Phil Hartman stuff had me almost crying I was laughing so hard, and Jimmy’s reaction to the jokes was very cool.
Added note - Running Your Trap was AWESOME. I think I pulled something from laughing so hard. Seriously, if I laughed any harder I’d need medical attention and then I’d have to hold y’all liable. Thanks so much to Jimmy, Matt, Pat, Graham and Janet for such a great show. Crank it up Johnny!!

It’s hard for me to hear people joking about Phil Hartman’s death….it’s been years and I was young when he was born, but I still hurt about it….
But then again, Phil was perhaps the funniest man who has ever lived, so of course he’d want hilarious people like Jimmy and Dave to joke about it.
